It's hard to believe that it is time to come back to school already. Where did our summer go? I guess we say that every year at this time. Okay, we didn't really have a summer as far as warm weather goes, but I hope you made the best of it.
Somehow Rick and I picked the perfect time to visit the Traverse City area and Mackinac Island. The weather was sunny and in the 80's. How we managed that, I don't know. We climbed Sleeping Bear Dunes, swam in the Caribbean colored Lake Michigan waters and explored both peninsula's (Lelenau and Mission Point). Having fun on Mackinac Island is a "no brainer" and having nice warm weather to do it in is a bonus!
I will be co-teaching again this year with Mrs. Wiles. Check out the English 12 page for information on that. I will also be co-teaching with Mrs. Gardner for geometry 10 (6th hour). I am looking forward to working with both of these fine ladies!
So....sharpen those pencils, pack those backpacks, get that first day of school outfit ready, cuz...here we go!
